Carmakers, road transport groups call for ambitious EU alternative-fuels infrastructure targets

European carmakers and road transport groups have called on EU governments and lawmakers from the European Parliament to set "ambitious and timely" targets for deploying alternative-fuels infrastructure across Europe as they warned that "lowering the ambition ... could lead to a significant setback" in cutting emissions.
