Canadian oil start-up founder cops to US charge in connection with Chad bribes

A co-founder of Griffiths Energy, a Canadian oil start-up later purchased by Glencore, has pleaded guilty to US corruption charges in connection with bribes paid to Chad officials, prosecutors said. Two former diplomats for Chad have also been charged, along with one of their wives.
