California's enforcement of CCPA begins with implementing regulations still pending

Despite calls for delays due to Covid-19, enforcement of California's sweeping new privacy law begins today, even though the statute’s implementing regulations haven't been approved by state officials.
“Enforcement under the law can begin before regulations go into effect,” a spokesperson for California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said.
