CADE Superintendent says law on public purchases is insufficiently innovative, but will help standardize public bids

Diogo Thomson de Andrade, acting superintendent of Brazil's competition authority, said that an April law governing public bids in the country is an important step toward standardization of bidding processes carried out by federal entities, especially at a time when so many public acquisitions are being made.
