CADE should emphasize education, in addition to punishment, to deter cartels, Councilor Lenisa Prado says

The Brazilian competition authority should seek to educate potential cartelists rather than relying on punishment to deter crimes, an agency councilor said today.

Lenisa Prado, a councilor at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, participated in a discussion hosted by the Brazilian Institute for Competition, Consume and International Commerce Studies (Ibrac).
