ByteDance sues to halt potential forced divestment of TikTok, other apps in US

TikTok has filed a lawsuit challenging a US law that could ban the application as “unconstitutional,” less than two weeks after it went into effect.
Despite the law's targeting of corporate ownership rather than speech on the application, it's unconstitutional and violates the First Amendment, TikTok and owner ByteDance contend
