Broadcom-VMware deal faces standing-committee hearing in South Korea on Oct. 18

The proposed merger between US chipmaker Broadcom and cloud computing company VMware will face a standing-committee review by the South Korean competition watchdog next Wednesday, MLex has learned.
The hearing will be held on Oct. 18 after a nearly year-long review of the merger deal by the Korea Fair Trade
