Broadcom has VMware interoperability concerns to resolve or face in-depth deal probe in UK

Unless chipmaker Broadcom offers undertakings that assuage concerns about interoperability, its VMware buyout will go to an in-depth review, the UK merger regulator said today.
Broadcom has until March 29 to offer undertakings acceptable to the Competition and Markets Authority or see a phase II referral.
