British Virgin Islands Premier Andrew Fahie is seeking his immediate release from US custody, invoking immunity under law as the duly elected head of the UK offshore territory’s government.

Fahie was elected premier of BVI in 2019 and has held the office since, making him the constitutional head of government, his lawyer
