Brazilian Senate panel approves nominees for CADE Superintendent, chief lawyer vacancies

The Brazilian Senate's Economic Affairs Committee has voted to approve Alexandre Barreto for a second term as superintendent for the Brazilian competition authority. The committee also approved André Luís Macagnan Freire as chief lawyer for the antitrust agency.
The votes took place on May 14.
