Brazilian Congress to keep working on coronavirus measures despite first confirmed case

The president of Brazil’s House of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia, has asked his colleagues to remain calm and not to leave Brasília amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) threat in the country. Maia is under growing pressure to shut down Congress after a congressman from São Paulo tested positive for the virus.
