Brazil competition advocacy authority focused on reducing 'abusive' regulatory burden

The Brazilian Secretariat for Competition Advocacy and Competitiveness, or SEAE, will work with other authorities to reduce the regulatory burden on companies in Brazil, as well as potential entrants, said the new head of SEAE, Geanluca Lorenzon. 

He cited health, financial, construction, mining and gas as sectors he will prioritize.
