Brazil CADE forwards decision blocking global automobile JV to foreign authorities

The Brazilian competition authority today sent to nine foreign authorities, including the European Commission and the US Federal Trade Commission, its decision blocking a global automobile joint venture between carmakers Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volkswagen, along with seven major auto parts firms.
