Boston Scientific, MI Tech abandon proposed transaction due to regulatory hurdles

Boston Scientific and South Korean non-vascular stent manufacturer MI Tech have abandoned their proposed transaction in light of regulatory hurdles in the US and abroad.
The US Federal Trade Commission today said the companies called the deal off in response to investigations by the commission and from foreign enforcement agencies.
