BorgWarner, Delphi cite small overlaps in bid for swift Chinese approval

US car-parts maker BorgWarner has pointed to small market shares in its overlaps with Delphi Technologies in a bid to obtain Chinese fast-track approval of the company's planned $3.3 billion acquisition of its British rival.

Michigan-based BorgWarner and London-headquartered Delphi together control only 10-15 percent of the Chinese market for variable camshaft-timing systems
