Booking.com's Etraveli deal gets first-phase clearance from UK regulator

Booking.com has obtained a green light from the UK competition authority for its acquisition of online travel agency Etraveli Group. 
In August, the Competition and Markets Authority launched an initial inquiry into whether the accommodation specialist’s takeover of Etraveli could be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition
