Boeing, Embraer tell CADE that prosecutors have no right to appeal merger decisions

Federal prosecutors have no "legitimacy" to appeal the Brazilian competition authority's merger decisions, including the approval of the Boeing-Embraer deal, the aircraftmakers told the Brazilian competition authority in a recent filing. 
Federal prosecutors’ right to appeal merger decisions from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, will be addressed
