BOE's new corporate bond purchasing strategy hopes to inspire UK investors to go green

UK companies and investors will be pushed to take a dramatically more climate-friendly approach under new Bank of England conditions for buying green corporate bonds.

Its new monetary-policy approach contains three principles: to incentivize companies to take action to achieve net-zero greenhouse-gas emissions; to lead by example and influence other investors;
