Belgian 5G spectrum auction to start on Wednesday

The Belgian telecom industry will see the national 5G spectrum auction start on June 1, a telecom authority spokesperson told MLex. Five operators are due to take part (see here).

The auction conditions were approved by the government last November. Under the agreement, 5G spectrum will be auctioned by telecom regulator BIPT in separate
