Baden-Württemberg data watchdog issued 19 GDPR fines in 2020; 174 cases pending

Companies in the German state of Baden-Württemberg saw 19 fines for breaches of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation issued last year.
According to the 2020 activity report of the state's data protection authority, one of Germany's 16 privacy watchdogs, some 174 new fining processes were opened.
