Australian review of Korean Air's plan to acquire Asiana Airlines is restarted

Korean Air’s $1.3 billion play for rival Asiana Airlines has seen the clock on an Australian merger review of the deal restart this week, after a five-month pause.

In an update to the Australian competition regulator’s review timeline on Tuesday, the watchdog said it received further information form the companies on Aug.
