Audio-visual sector's exemption from EU geo-blocking rules comes under pressure

Copyrighted movies and TV shows could lose their exemption from EU geo-blocking rules, forcing rightsholders to make them available across the bloc, after lawmakers today pushed for rules specifically to draw in the audio-visual sector.
