ArcelorMittal escapes German probe of flat-steel cartel

A German antitrust investigation into suspect contacts among makers of flat steel has ended, according to ArcelorMittal.
The company was informed last month that the probe was closed without finding any breach of antitrust law.

In 2017, the Bundeskartellamt carried out raids at seven companies, suspecting them of illegal agreements
