Aon offers EU concessions in bid for Willis Towers Watson deal approval

Aon has offered to amend its plan to buy rival insurance broker Willis Towers Watson, in a bid to address EU concerns about the deal.

Aon submitted the remedy proposal to the European Commission on Friday, April 9, according to an update on the commission's register of notified deals. Details weren’t disclosed.
