Amazon’s tax deal ‘very definition’ of an illegal subsidy, regulators tell EU’s top court

Amazon's Luxembourg tax deal was the "very definition of fiscal state aid," the European Commission told the EU's top judges today, as it sought to reinstate a 2017 state aid order that the e-commerce giant should pay an extra 250 million euros ($265 million) in taxes.
