Amazon-Deliveroo deal cleared by UK competition regulator

  • 04 Aug 2020 06:16's purchase of a minority stake in online food delivery company Deliveroo has been formally cleared by the UK’s competition regulator.

In a decision published today, the Competition and Markets Authority upheld its provisional findings — deeming that the level of Amazon’s investment would not substantially lessen competition in either the online grocery
