Aluminum shouldn't be EU 'strategic' material as European industry is robust, Breton argues

Aluminum was rightly not included on an EU list of "strategic" materials under the upcoming Critical Raw Materials Act because European production is robust, its use isn't likely to spike and other metals can be substituted for it, the bloc's industry chief Thierry Breton has said.
