AbbVie-Allergan deal approved in South Korea

US biopharmaceuticals supplier AbbVie's proposed acquisition of Dublin-based Allergan has been approved by South Korea's antitrust agency, MLex has learned.

It is understood that the Korea Fair Trade Commission, or KFTC, cleared the deal without conditions.
