Comment: Vodafone-Hutchison deal would face tough path to UK approval

If Vodafone merges with CK Hutchison’s Three UK, it would see the Competition and Markets Authority investigate a four-to-three mobile merger — something it hasn’t looked at in living memory.
This kind of deal is difficult to get approval for anywhere.

The CMA will no doubt come under intense pressure
