A group of US cabinet manufacturers is taking advantage of the US Commerce Department’s new streamlined process to advance claims that foreign companies are avoiding antidumping and antisubsidy duties on rival imports from China.

Commerce now has the authority to simultaneously conduct duty evasion proceedings — a scope ruling and circumvention inquiry —
