Comment: Realtors’ landmark US antitrust settlement over broker commissions sets stage for industry to follow suit

The National Association of Realtors announced a deal today that would dispense with crushing antitrust liability linked to a major trial loss over brokerage commissions in exchange for $418 million in payments and rule changes that are widely expected to shake up the US residential real estate industry.
