Comment: Failure of Simon & Schuster deal creates opportunity for previous bidders, others

A US federal court decision to block Penguin Random House’s acquisition of Simon & Schuster on Monday has opened the door for other potential buyers, including other members of the so-called Big Five publishing houses, to reconsider their own bids to acquire Simon & Schuster.
