Comment: EU's hopes dashed over possible US steel-tariff slash

European hopes that US steel tariffs might be removed under a Joe Biden administration appear to be fading. This could spur Brussels to continue its own import restrictions on steel goods beyond their expiration next year, in a clear contradiction of its own trade commissioner.
