Comment: EU's Boeing retaliation could be grounded by US election sensitivities

The EU’s trade retaliation against US subsidies to Boeing may be tempered by the upcoming presidential election, with several governments warning the European Commission that a strong line at such a sensitive moment could provoke Donald Trump into another round of escalation.
