Yageo's Kemet buyout accepted for formal Chinese review

Taiwanese electronic-components maker Yageo's notification of its planned $1.8 billion takeover of US peer Kemet has been formally accepted by China's competition regulator for a review, MLex has learned.

The State Administration for Market Regulation, or SAMR, officially started its 180-day review clock earlier this month, it is understood.
