WhatsApp's privacy update sparks probe, antitrust allegations by India's competition watchdog

WhatsApp is facing another regulatory challenge in India over its recent privacy-policy update, with the country competition watchdog announcing that it had ordered an own-initiative investigation into allegation of abuse of dominance linked to the new policy.
