Water, power to emerge alongside training data as potential limits to AI development, data center builder says

A key limiting factor in enabling generative artificial intelligence systems is often understood to be the vast amounts of data needed to train them. But the CEO of the world’s largest private controller of data centers says two potentially bigger limits are emerging: Electricity and water.
