Vipshop under SAMR probe as China ramps up its tech crackdown

Chinese e-commerce company Vipshop is being investigated by China's market regulator for suspected unfair-competition behavior, marking the authority's second probe in three weeks against digital players as Beijing tightens scrutiny over the so-called platform economy.
