Veolia amends Suez deal in bid for EU approval

Veolia has offered to amend its buyout of Suez in a bid to win EU clearance for the merger of the two French water and waste giants.

Veolia submitted the proposal yesterday, according to an update to the EU regulator’s register of deals this afternoon.
