Venezuelan forex scheme leads to US criminal charges against Swiss, Argentinian nationals

Two men purportedly hired to launder a pool of money embezzled from the Venezuelan state oil company have been charged for their roles in the alleged scheme, according to court documents unsealed today.

Ralph Steinmann, a Swiss national who operated a European financial institution, and Luis Vuteff, his Argentinian employee, were both charged
