US security tariffs on vanadium imports harm domestic steel and titanium industries, economy, Commerce says

The imposition of US tariffs or quotas on vanadium imports to raise the domestic price of the metal product would have “significant negative effects” on the economy and national security, the Commerce Department said in a redacted report from an investigation initiated during Donald Trump’s presidency.
