US SEC preparing security-based swaps rules for swap execution facilities, firms’ position reporting

The US Securities and Exchange Commission, which has lagged far behind the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in adopting Dodd-Frank Act derivatives rules, is considering standards for security-based swap trading venues and firms’ aggregate position reporting, SEC Chair Gary Gensler said.
