US House antitrust panel warned about 'court driven' antitrust policy as Big Tech probe wraps

US courts have misinterpreted 100-year-old antitrust statutes, requiring changes in the law, former antitrust enforcers and academics told the House antitrust subcommittee today during a hearing on US antitrust policy. The experts told the panel that such "court-driven" antitrust policy has lead to under-enforcement by antitrust agencies.
