US FinCEN plans rules on no-action letters, whistleblower programs

Banks and financial institutions will soon be asked to comment on possible rules that would govern the way the US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network issues no-action letters to banks and how the agency would operate its whistleblower program, a FinCEN director said today.
