US Fed to seek public comment on central-bank digital currency via long-awaited paper, Powell says

The US Federal Reserve’s long-awaited paper on central bank digital currencies will be released in the next few weeks and will mostly seek public input while also staking out some policy positions, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell told lawmakers today.
