US Fed should join central-bank group trying to manage global warming risks to economy, Brainard says

The US Federal Reserve should join the group of central banks that is trying to identify and manage risks to the international financial system posed by global warming, said Fed Governor Lael Brainard, the sole Democrat on the board.
