US blacklists four foreign hacking firms, including Israel's NSO Group

Two Israeli software companies associated with government surveillance of private citizens are now on a US government blacklist restricting their access to American technology.
Among them is NSO Group, maker of Pegasus mobile phone spyware, and a smaller company known as Candiru, both based in Tel Aviv.
