United Group's Greek telecom deal will need EU approval

Challenger European telecom operator United Group will need to secure EU approval before it can take over Greek rival Wind Hellas, a spokesman told MLex.

United said on Monday that it had agreed to buy Wind Hellas for an undisclosed sum. It plans to combine it with Nova, a pay-TV and fixed-line
