United Breweries, Carlsberg, industry group fined $115.2m over Indian beer cartel (update*)

Manufacturers of Heineken, Carlsberg and Budweiser beer fixed prices over eleven years, India’s competition watchdog has said while imposing penalties totaling 8.58 billion rupees ($115.2 million) against two companies and 11 individuals involved in the sale and supply cartel.
