UK's 'pragmatic' data reform 'not a risk' to EU-UK data adequacy, privacy chief insists

UK data reform is a "pragmatic and proportionate" update on the existing laws and "should not present a risk" to the EU-UK data flows arrangement, the country's privacy regulator said. However, he still pushed for minor amendments, saying the proposal "would benefit from additional clarity" on technical issues.
